Crane Cams Rockers

Crane Cams performance hydraulic lifters provide precise oil metering control using Crane's exclusive check ball internal valving. The bleed rate of these lifters is maintained by microtolerances that prevent pump-up, which limits your rpm potential. After proper preload has been set, these lifters seldom need maintenance.

Mechanical lifters from Crane should be used when hydraulic cams have reached their maximum rpm potential. Mechanical lifters are noisier than hydraulic, but have an rpm potential of 8,000 to 8,500 rpm. The engine must have an adjustable valvetrain system, and the lifters cannot be used on a hydraulic camshaft.

Crane hydraulic roller lifters are designed for easy installation without machining on late model blocks, and they feature check-ball internal valving to prevent pump-up. They're precision CNC-machined, and many are equipped with Crane's anti-rotation guide bars. These lifters are available in an OE version, and in a retrofit version for vehicles without OE hydraulic roller lifters.

Crane Cams mechanical roller lifters are the standard of the industry--they're racing's strongest, most popular roller lifters. Both Crane's standard design and ultra-lightweight Pro series are available. These lifters are precision CNC-machined for accuracy, and are the strongest, most durable lifters available for competition or serious street applications.
