Comp Cams Valve Springs

Valve springs are one of the most critical and overlooked components in your engine. They must be matched to your cam in order for the engine to reach its full potential. It does absolutely no good to install a cam that will perform up to 8,000 rpm if you do not have the correct springs. Use the only valve springs that will give the recommended spring pressure with the valve both on the seat and at maximum lift. COMP Cams valve springs are offered in single and dual styles to meet their cam requirements.

If you're a serious racer, you'd better be sure you're using strong valve spring retainers, such as these COMP Cams titanium retainers. They're stronger and lighter than steel, which means that you'll gain speed and power. They use COMP Cams' Super Lock technology and are designed for 10 degree valve stem locks. These retainers work best with COMP Cams' valve locks and optional lash caps, and you can be sure that they won't split at high rpm, tearing up your engine.
