V-CAI-90 HEMI Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake

These Carbon Fiber  HEMI cold air Intake's are what you been waiting for. They are carbon fiber intake units made to take full advantage of the airflow capabilities of our big throttle bodies or boost the horsepower output of a stock throttle setup.

Designed for your high horsepower HEMI engine to incorporate swirl and velocity increasing measures, this intake creates a vortex based on the principles of supercharging, the venturi effect, and the de Laval nozzle (CD nozzle or con-di nozzle) as used in jet engines. This swirl forces air through the throttle body and into the intake manifold ant and engineered swirl all at extreme velocities.

Used with our 90mm Hemi tb's, the high volume cobra head elbow maintains the volume and swirl of air around a tight 90degree bend. This elbow allows the air to travel directly into the throttle body at a higher velocity than traditional radiused elbows that loose velocity, volume and direction around the bend.

For use with our 85’s and stock 80mm throttle bodies, a high quality race inspired molded rubber reducing elbow allows easy coupling to these setups without major loss in velocity or swirl design integrity. Unlike silicone elbows, the reinforced rubber elbow will not compress or crush under the high pressure forces created by high performance cold air intakes.

Our Green Performance Air Filters cap off this intake with a filter that flows as high as the intake tube and maintains velocity with superior air cleaning power. This lifetime filter was engineered with performance in mind and carefully tested for durability and CFM capability.

The Airflow sensor is mounted downstream to increase performance gains. Reinstallation of your Air Temperature Sensor is simplified with the included Mopar Performance plug-and-play extender that eliminates the need for splicing or other sensor wire modification. To finish the kit, an aluminum air box with rubber seals replaces the factory air box and mounts using existing holes and locations for cut free and hassle free fitment.

Stainless steel t-nut clamps provide high quality seals that won’t slip or vibrate loose while maintaining firm fit around the sealing surface.
