Designed and tested by leading engine builders, these Moroso billet aluminum Sportsman Spur gear oil pumps incorporate a blue wear-resistant finish, high-quality hardware, and high-tolerance machined components into one great-performing package. But that's not all. Other important features include larger inlet and oil passages for increased oil flow and efficiency, an integral bottom-feed design that eliminates the need for external pickups, a larger mounting cross-section that eliminates vibration and fatigue failures, and a special oil pressure bypass designed to return oil to the pickup area to reduce both aeration and oil temperature. Finally, they also feature a weight-reducing design and the ability to clear many stroker cranks and most rods without modification.
