Manley Pistons

These Manley platinum series pistons are made from 2618 alloy for maximum high temperature
strength and fatigue resistance. Manley's platinum series pistons provide trouble free installation, excellent reliability and are unsurpassed by the best the competition has to offer in producing

maximum horsepower
for your engine.

  • "Contour Forgings" provide the optimum balance between strength and weight with no grain interrupting internal milling.
  • Proprietary multi-step Top ring groove machining process assures optimum control of the groove's size, geometry, flatness and finish.
  • All final turning is performed in one fixturing resulting in complete squareness of rings to
    cylinder wall.
  • Federal form-scan Gauging validates skirt indexing to pinhole and skirt-to-skirt polarity.
  • Added features such as a pressure balance groove included.
  • Precise Pinhole machining results in an exact compression distance as well as precise ring groove spacing, size and concentricity.
  • Spiral locks included.
  • Tool steel pin included.

Stock style pistons in modular engines are hypereutectic style. These Manley forged pistons will stand
up to much higher horsepower levels and are a necessity for supercharged, turbo charged and nitrous applications. They are designed to be compatible with 6.8L, 5.4L & 4.6L SOHC & DOHC modular engines utilizing stock stroke, rod length and .866 pins. These pistons must be used with Manley
ring sets. Manley currently produces pistons for some of the most well known aftermarket piston manufacturers. If these manufacturers rely on Manley you should too.
