Nitro Gears

Until now if you wanted to build a nice third member you had to use rusty dropout that's maybe 50 years old! Well Nitro Gear & Axle has now manufactured a brand new third members with all of the original casting stamps. It's made from nodular iron and features forged bearing caps with billet side adjusters. This unit will handle lots of power, slicks, trans brake or anything else you want to throw at it.

The Chrysler/Mopar 8.75" differential is a very popular and robust 3rd member type rear end used in a vast array of Chrysler, Dodge & Plymouth Muscle Cars form the 60???s & 70???s. The growing popularity of classic Mopar vehicles has created a shortage on used 3rd member cores. Nitro Gear is now offering brand new 3rd member drop-out housings, utilizing the original casting design. The new Nitro housings are made of high strength Nodular Iron, with stronger bearing caps, and billet adjuster nuts for added strength .
