Hotchkis Sport Suspension (80040-2) 1964-66 Mustang Stage 2 TVS (Total Vehicle System) kit. The Hotchkis Stage 2 TVS Kit is an all-inclusive kit that has been designed and tested as a system for your 1964-66 Ford Mustang Coupe, Fastback or Convertible. No need to mix and match components since this kit contains Geometry-Corrected Upper Tubular A-Arms, (Does not include spring seats)Tubular Lower Control Arms with corrected ball joint angle necessary for lowered ride heights. Lower control arm adjustability is made even easier with the included Adjustable Strut Rods that dramatically improve stability and superior driver control thanks to increased positive caster and Spherical Heim Joints. Superior ride height is achieved with our front small block coil springs, 700 lbs/in with 0.5 in. lower ride height, and our heavy-duty multi-leaf Rear Leaf Springs, 180 lbs/in with 1.5 in. lower ride height. Next is our lightweight 32mm (1.25 in.) 4130 Tubular Steel Front Sway Bar and Lightweight 22mm (0.875 in.) DOM Tubular Steel 3-Way Adjustable Rear Sway Bar that allow for suspension tuning for optimum track or street performance. The Hotchkis 1.5 Street Performance Series front and rear Shock Absorbers by Fox specifically tuned for your 1964-66 Mustang provide smooth ride, exceptional control, and balanced handling. Subframe Connectors are included to add rigidity to reduce chassis flex. Other than a few minutes of welding the direct install Subframe Connectors, this is a Direct Bolt-On installation kit requiring no vehicle modifications. This kit comes with Premium Mounting Hardware Including: adjustable Tie Rod Sleeves, Steel U-Bolts Laser Cut Axle Mounts & Frame Rail Mounts, Polyurethane Bushings and Grade 8 Bolts, TIG Welded Steel Dogbone End Links with Polyurethane Bushings. The Hotchkis Stage 2 TVS kit for the 1964-66 Mustang offers a sleek lowered stance, dramatically improved handling, steering response and driver control by reducing body roll.
